The Orchestral Dance Music Experiment is a new event curated by Jess which combines electronic dance music and live instrumentals.

The first instalment featured minimal techno and percussive breakbeats from Jess and DJ Cleopatra alongside new instrumentals by Toby Anderson, Martha-Maria Mitu, Saurabh Shivakumar, Yan Ee Toh and Luca Zucchi, plus a solo improvisation from Otto Hashmi.

Future ODME events are currently in development, with the hope that the project will offer new possibilities for DJs, composers, listeners and dancers in both dance music and contemporary music scenes.
